Hello, friends! As we step into the new year, I wanted to pull back the curtain and give you a glimpse of what’s been going on behind the scenes here at North Country Rustics. Let’s just say it’s been a whirlwind of snowfall, sketches, and caffeine-fueled creativity—and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What’s Happening in the Studio?

First things first: the laser! If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been getting acquainted with my trusty Monport Laser, and let me tell you—it’s been a real game changer for me. From intricate designs for our DIY kits to custom creations for upcoming events, this machine is helping me bring my ideas to life... in a way that I could only dream of before! (Spoiler alert: I may or may not be creating my most intricate Rustic Designs yet!  One of the newest designs you might recognize from the traditions of the past ~ and I think you're going to love the new way to incorporate into today's modern home!)

New Products in the Works

One of my big focuses this year is creating Adirondack-inspired keepsakes and decor. Think natural materials, a touch of adventure, and plenty of rustic charm. I’m currently working on 10 unique product ideas that I can’t wait to share. 

Meanwhile, I’m also prepping for my first live online event of the year!  I’ll be showcasing some of my favorite DIY kits, with options for every crafting skill level—from Simple to Craft Pro. Whether you’re new to crafting or a seasoned DIY-er, there’s something in the lineup for you.

Personal Highlights

On a more personal note, I’ve been diving into planning mode for the year ahead. With a cold Pepsi (or three) and my Rustic Resolutions Workbook by my side, I’ve been mapping out goals, brainstorming ideas, and dreaming big. This year, I’m all about building balance: creating products that make people smile, growing my business, and still finding time to enjoy the little moments—like sledding with the grandbabies or cozying up by the fire with the hubby and the pups after a long day in the studio.

• January Online Event: Be the first to see the new Craft Kits! I’ll be going live twice to chat, demo, and share some fantastic kits.  Don't miss this ~ Join the Fun!  

• Valentine’s Day DIY Kits: Rustic woodland animal designs, perfect for kids (and kids at heart). These kits are all about creativity and fun without the mushy stuff.

• Weekly Content Series: I'm hoping to share organizing hacks and winter crafts but really, I want to know what would inspire you this month!  Any Suggestions ~ I'd love to hear them!
